VCDS diagnostics for Audi, Seat, Skoda and VW

The VCDS HEX-V2 and the HEX-NET Diagnostic Tools support all Audi, Seat, Skoda and Volkswagen models (K-line, L-line and CAN bus). Other vehicle manufacturers are covered by the OBD2 functionality integrated in VCDS. HEX-V2 and HEX-NET can both be used via USB, with respect to the Windows VCDS software, both offer full functionality. The HEX-NET offers the additional advantage of being usable by VCDS-Mobile via Wifi in the web browser on any internet capable device, perfect for diagnostics on your own vehicle on the road. The Wifi option of the HEX-NET realizes easy integration into the workshop network with all advantages without USB cable wear.

With VCDS, you can perform a variety of diagnostic functions that help you monitor the condition of your vehicle and detect problems early. Supported functions include automatic fault scan, ECU version query, fault memory query, actuator test, basic settings, and much more. Particularly helpful are the help functions like tooltips and the LCode assistant, which support you in coding and login/security access.

Unique features include reading the EDC15/EDC16 vehicle mileage and support for vehicle diagnostic protection (SFD). Additionally, VCDS offers an extensive fault code database, real-time graphics, data logging, and specific assistants for service resets and battery coding.

Even very new vehicles can already be read out with the VCDS scan tool, e.g. Volkswagen ID.5 or the Audi e-tron. Of course, our systems are backwards compatible up to the first diagnosable models. No matter which vehicle you own from one of the brands of the Volkswagen group: With VCDS you are perfectly equipped. VCDS software updates are free of charge. The dongle functionality of our HEX-V2 and HEX-NET interfaces allows you to install VCDS on any computer.
