Upgrade from VCDS HEX+USB+CAN to HEX-V2 Professional Version (Standard, unlimited) or HEX-NET (Generation 2, blue casing) Professional Version (+Wifi, unlimited). The new diagnostic systems are also suitable for vehicles newer than 2018 (VW Golf 8, VW ID.3, VW ID.4, etc.).
Support for SFD is available, and a model for generating the necessary SFD tokens (currently only available through the vehicle manufacturer) is in progress.

Why should you upgrade your VCDS Interface?

Compatibility with newer vehicles: With the HEX-V2 and HEX-NET Professional Versions, you can fully diagnose vehicles from the 2018 model year onwards. This is especially important for workshops and hobbyists working with the latest models from VW, Audi, Seat, and Skoda.
Support for SFD (Security for Vehicle Data): The new diagnostic systems provide support for SFD, which is used by many new vehicles. This ensures that you continue to have access to important diagnostic and control functions.
Wireless diagnostics with HEX-NET: The HEX-NET interface offers the possibility to work wirelessly via WIFI. This prevents wear on USB cables and connectors and eliminates the restrictions caused by cables. It can be used via USB independently of WIFI, just like the HEX-V2.
VCDS-Mobile integration: The HEX-NET integrates VCDS-Mobile for personal use on the go. Any internet-enabled device with a web browser can be used, which is especially practical for quick diagnostic checks on the go with your smartphone.
Access to additional tools: As a new customer, you automatically get access to KPower, KDataScope, and the Dieselschrauber© Forum with the upgrade. These tools and resources offer additional diagnostic and analysis functions and help you get the most out of your diagnostic interface.

Conditions and procedure:

You own an original HEX+USB+CAN interface, not an AI Multiscan.
You purchased the HEX-USB+CAN new from us (existing customer) or provide proof of purchase to show you are the original owner (new customer).
The old diagnostic interface can be kept.

Differences between HEX-V2 and HEX-NET:

The HEX-NET can be used wirelessly via WIFI. Therefore, in a tough workshop environment, there is no wear on USB cables and connectors. There are no work restrictions due to the cable and its length.
The HEX-NET can be used via USB independently of WIFI, just like the HEX-V2.
The HEX-NET integrates VCDS-Mobile for personal use on the go.
